Subject: Mosaic over Chameleon stack?
Subject says it all, I just made Chameleon work after using Trumpet for some
time. Now Mosaic fails on DNS lookup. Trumpet News, TrumpTel, WS_FTP all seem
OK. Anyone with anything to share? All responses appreciated.
-Brian

You can find it at ftp.cica.indiana.edu in /pub/pc/win3/misc as cyberdrv.zip.

Subject: Internet VoiceChat V1.0 RELEASED! (Final Posting)
This message is to announce the release of Internet VoiceChat, Version
1.0. This unique program will allow users to conduct live, two-way voice
conversations over the Internet, much like using a telephone or CB radio.
IVC includes several innovative features, such as an Answering Machine,
Call Screening, and much more. Now you can talk to friends and associates
over the Internet right on your PC, without picking up the phone! IVC can
even be minimized and left running in the background. The user can then
start up another program, and if a call is received, a popup window
announces the caller's name and IP address.
System requirements for Internet VoiceChat are: WinSock 1.1, any
Windows(tm)-compatible sound card with a microphone, net connectivity, and
a 386 or better processor. Full online help is included.
IVC has already been uploaded to the following sites (in all cases, the
filename is IVC10.ZIP):
ftp.cica.indiana.edu : /pub/pc/win3/uploads
(to be moved to /pub/pc/win3/winsock)
b61503.student.cwru.edu : /uploads
(to be moved to /winsock)
www.unb.ca : /incoming
(to be moved to /pub/winsock)
ftp.demon.co.uk : /pub/ibmpc/winsock/incoming
(to be moved to /pub/ibmpc/winsock)
I am also in the process of uploading to the following sites:
wuarchive.wustl.edu garbo.uwasa.fi
msdos.archive.umich.edu oak.oakland.edu
I hope you'll give my program a try. Send any questions, comments,
criticisms, or suggestions to ahrens26@wharton.upenn.edu.
Internet VoiceChat is Copyright (C) 1994, Richard L. Ahrens, and marketed
under the Shareware concept. You may try it for a 30-day evaluation
period. Registration is required for continued use thereafter.

Subject: Blocking or Non-blocking after calling WSAAsyncSelect
Hi,
I have a question about WSAAsyncSelect().
I know that calling WSAAsyncSelect(s, hwnd, hmsg, FD_READ) will
automatically set the socket s to be nonblocking mode, but I would
like to know after calling WSAAsyncSelect(s, hwnd, 0, 0) will still
keep the socket s in nonblocking mode or reset it back to the blocking
mode? If no, then I have to use ioctlsocket(s, FIONBIO, ...) to set it
back to blocking mode?
Thanks.
